We absolutely enjoyed our stay! We wanted a peaceful getaway and we got it! the scenery on the way to the cabin was beautiful and the drive was not bad at all! This was a trip without our kids, so we missed them but the place felt like home and the dogs there became one of our favorite things along with the river and scenery. Kayaking was amazing and the woods were amazing. I could go in forever but it was a 10/10 stay!

We loved our stay!! Perfect for a family weekend in together! Come prepared as there is little around but that is part of the charm. Our fam had a great time fishing kayaking and canoeing all right on the property. The dogs were a bonus! Lol. The house couldnt be more cozy! We will definitely be coming back. ❤️

My girlfriend and I had a great time at the cabin. It’s a beautiful property and we had a blast canoeing in the back. There was ample firewood and the host even lent us a lighter to start the fire. The two border collies were a ton of fun. They are addicted to fetching! Would stay again.

We spent the weekend at Jed’s place for a peaceful, stargazing weekend with our adult children. We had such a wonderful time. Beds were comfortable, cabin was pristine, and the grounds were beautiful. My husband and son enjoyed fishing together, and our son took his girlfriend for a ride in the canoe. The Blackstone grill was perfect for making dinner and we all wished we had booked a longer stay. This cabin and its location are perfect for a relaxing family experience. The two dogs on property are very friendly and well behaved, but can get annoying. They tend to stay constantly at your feet, to the point of being a trip hazard, wanting you to throw rocks and toys for them to fetch. They muddied up the back porch furniture by lying all over the cushions, but if you loudly yell, “Get!”, they do understand and will roam elsewhere. We just wish we had known this at the beginning of our stay, instead of closer to the end. 🙂 We highly recommend Jed’s cabin and had a blast here!
